Allana Ferguson bio
Allana first represented Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering several knee injuries through many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana played with distinction for New South Wales during her debut women's Rugby League game against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana can also be found as a regular radio presenter, appearing frequently on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is a qualified instructor. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of playing for Australia in three sports, rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' top player in rugby must end her career in the league due to breaking her ACL four times. Ferguson, 25, had torn her ACL in the same spot between the age of 15-17 and at 20. After a fourth tear she realized that it was now the right time to end her career. Ferguson is the JILLAROOS player, was forced to resign in the midst of training due to a fourth left ACL tear. Ferguson had an injury to her ACL during training in November.
